First fire since spring.
Sep. 3rd, 2015 09:44 pmSpent the afternoon salvaging wood and insulating the garage door.
Feeling the cold this evening, so I lit the fire. Pleased and surprised to find there was still some coal in the bunker.
Now a hearty glow resides in the stove and the smell of roasting dust fills the air. First fire of the season always smells like turning on an old valve television that's been in an attic for years, love that smell.
